Long Overdue Update

Hey all. I have been pretty busy lately. The bike racing season came to a close way back in September. Aside from crashing on Saturday of labor day weekend, it was okay. I was 59th out of ~120 riders in the pro race on Friday night. It was great to ride with/against some of the best riders in the US.

As 2011 closes, I will be donating a portion of funding from sponsors to RVAP of Johnson County as well as the Shelter House.

As 2012 begins I will be looking forward to the mowing season. I am looking forward to trying out some new bike/mowing equipment! Stay tuned!

Need to Blog!!!

Hey all. Someone recently told me that I needed to blog. Being the last post was in June, I realized that there needed to be some posting. As for mowing, the lack of rain in August put a damper on the mowing. However, it is raining right now, so business should pick up soon. I have been racing my bike a fair amount this year. This weekend will draw the season to a close. I will be competing in the Gateway Cup races in St. Louis. I would like to send out a big thank you to: NANO, Brooklyn Wordsmiths, Old Capitol Screen Printing and 30th Century Bicycle for providing their support. Next week I will be unveiling the two non-profit groups I will be donating a portion of the financial support I have received from my sponsors.

Lastly, as the fall approaches I will be riding less and doing more leaf cleanup. So, if you need a fall cleanup, e-mail: ciclismow@hotmail.com

On the Job

A photo from work the other day. This is from www.iowagoesbybicycle.com (thanks Audrey!). When not working, I have been racing my road bike. Recently, I competed in the 100 mile Burlington Road Race and finished mid-pack in a field of pros and elite amateurs. So, things are coming along!
